who are we?

A island-inspired wellness and clothing brand based in Puerto Rico founded by Eliana Burgos. our basics are meant to be worn anywhere, by everyone. Paraísla is where beach basics meet comfort, and comfort meets wellness.

story + mission

As a 23-year-old medical student from Puerto Rico and living in Florida, I always felt very homesick and missing PR’s incredible energy whenever I came back to FL. I knew I needed to find a solution to spread Puerto Rico’s enchantment so others could experience it as well. One day it hit me, why not embody that familiar feeling wherever I go through clothing (aka one of the best forms of self-expression)? Thus, Paraísla was born June 2024.

Inspired by the paradise ("paraíso") of my island ("isla"), we created Paraísla. Our goal is for you to embody the island’s paradise wherever you are through our apparel.

Through Paraísla, I also wanted create a brand that was a true representation of me. Thus, to combine my passion for medicine with this creative outlet, Paraísla will donate a portion of every order to various medical organizations that contribute to research and patient well-being.

With all of this said, no matter where you are in the world, I hope Paraísla can bring an island paradise to you.
